Frame Strollers
Some parents love the idea of using their infant car seats as the “carrier” part of a stroller–which is a perfect way to move a sleeping baby from the car to the stroller without having to wake up or even come in contact with the baby. This is where frame strollers come into play with specific infant car seats designed to “plug and play” directly into the stroller frame and the car seat base (whichever the parent needs at the time).

Travel systems and frame strollers are not very different in their function, although travel systems are generally sold together, and the stroller part of the travel system may be a little larger/heavier than what you’d find in a frame stroller
